however, that's not to say that we don't enjoy them!! it's sort of like people who say they can't wait for grandchildren, you get to experience all the FUN parts of having kids, but not the not-so-pleasant parts (changing diapers, temper tantrums... oh man, i'm totally not ready for that) that's what we got to do this weekend. we got to dog-sit our neighbors 3 dogs (yes, THREE!!! well, 3 between her and her boyfriend who spent the weekend in miami, jealous!)
skeeter, max, and joey are yorkies with minds of their own... at the beginning of the weekend, they didn't take to us very well, but by the end of the weekend, they greeted us with excitement when we walked inside, and once i even caught all three of them doing their "business" at the same time!! i never thought i could be so happy to see such a thing!! haha
we definitely realized we are not ready for a pet, but it was a fun (and eye-opening) experience for a few days :D
even though they didn't like us at first, how can you NOT love these cutie patootie little guys!?!?
